Key Stage 3
Students develop research, designing, planning, making and evaluating skills.  They spend time in a selection of material areas over the course of each year, these include; Food Technology, Textiles Technology and Workshop Studies in Resistant Materials and Electronic Products
Students complete a variety of projects which focus on different skills and help to build confidence within the subject area and inform choices about KS4 courses to choose.
Key Stage 4
Unlike many schools, Design Technology is a core subject at KS4.  Students may opt to follow GCSEs in Resistant Materials. Electronic Products, Food or Textiles.
