Key Stage Three
Students learn about the benefits of regular participation in sport and exercise and are always encouraged to perform to the best of their ability with the aim of developing a lifelong passion for physical activity and sport.  The Curriculum consists of the following activities; Rugby, football, hockey, dance, netball, gymnastics, health and fitness, basketball, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, handball, cricket, athletics, rounders, tennis, cross country and outdoor adventurous activities. Students are expected to apply high standards of behaviour and effort toward all of the many activities undertaken.
Achievement in lessons is also broadened by high uptake in our wide extra-curricular PE offer and school team competition.

Key Stage Four
At KS4 all students follow a core GCSE PE curriculum and can also opt to follow a BTEC in Sport.  The Key Stage 4 curriculum content is provided in the latest version of our options booklet.  There is also a broad extra-curricular offer and team participation opportunities for all students at KS4.
