Myerscough College is one of the UK's largest land-based and sports colleges, offering a wide range of courses across 20 subject areas. It's located between Lancaster and Preston and is a popular choice for students from Barrow and South Cumbria. There's a fantastic campus, residential accommodation for 750 students and a direct College bus service every day from Lancaster (or free car parking on site!)

Myerscough is the number one land-based college in the UK for student success rates and 2nd nationwide for student satisfaction according to the 2013 National Student Survey results. It was recently awarded an OUTSTANDING classification by Ofsted for its Agriculture and Countryside Studies provision. It's also the most successful sports college in the country in 2013, winning more than 30 different trophies, leagues and tournaments. Career opportunities are superb.

For students working towards GCSEs, the College offers a range of entry level courses along with A-Level equivalent BTEC Level Three Diplomas, ideal for progression to university degrees. For students looking to take A-Levels, there are great opportunities to progress to Foundation Degree and Honours Degrees here at the College.

The teaching facilities are excellent, with a 9-hole golf course, state-of-the-art sports centre, Rural Skills Centre, Engineering Centre, an International Riding Arena, Animal Academy and dedicated Motorsports workshops. There's also a full range of catering outlets, computer and IT suites, a well-stocked library and great social facilities.
